how to handle the error

I'm dealing with a large dataset. When I pick a number to process, sometimes there will generate same error and will stop there.
I just wonder if there is any method to handle such situation. I hope when the error occurs, the
procedure can jump over this number and continue to process the other numbers. I hope the whole procedure can continue uninterrupted instead of a cease.
In that way I can get most of the data analyzed

I just hope when the error occurs,no matter what error, the procedure can skip this number and continue to process next number.
