I had the same problem. It was fixed when I upgraded from Matlab
2006a to 2007a. I know TMW fiddled around with Windows shortcuts in
2007a to fix other stuff (e.g., associating fig files with open
Matlab engines etc.), so they must have fixed this at the same time.
