i am having the same problem.. im also using vista 32, and i installed r2006a.. basically it's the same, file can be viewed while on matlab window, but going to the work folder from my computer, the files are gone.. and i don't even get to copy the file and paste it in another directory, because the computer prompts me and say that the file is gone. hope someone will be able to help.
