Yeah, Marco's a legend in the FEX.

I recently also had somme comments removed from .M files, and subsequently I received an e-mail from a person working at The MathWorks explaining why. It goes:

"The MATLAB community is a non censored (within reason) place for everyone. To simply ban one person because a lot of others do not like his code is rather unfair, regardless of how good the code really is. We are trying to take an aggressive stance on the issues that have come to light recently in order to make everyone happy. From now on comments that are sarcastic, rude, use foul language or do not directly address the code will be removed"

I'm a little disappointed about this new rule. For me Marco's codes are pieces of art, for the coding itself, for the poor math behind it and above all for the unintelligible, pseudo-philosophical descriptions. Each time he posts something new it's a big laugh for my friends and for myself. I think he should be acknowledged for what he knows to do, which is make people laugh. And therefore humorous comments should be allowed for his codes.. (my removed comments were certainly sarcastic, but not rude in any way)
