The definition of image registration as given in MATLAB help, Image registration is the process of aligning two or more images of the SAME scene. Now i am dealing with two images of the optic nerves of two different persons. now my question is how is it possible to align these two DIFFERENT images as optic nerve appears to be varied from person to person.. Which mapping and which transformation is to use for it? And how to decide that?
