This is a nice article in that it surfaces issues but there
is little in it about which to form, or to support any, conclusions.

(Is is correct to call Visual Basic a "scripting language"?  I was
not aware of that terminology.)

I personally find the OO features of C++ sufficient to facilitate
better code organization, more practical maintenance, and
easier handoff than the other languages mentioned.
