We did not see that in testing for 9b.  It would be best to call into 
support your details but we would need the following to reproduce the 
problem.

Which version of MATLAB?
32 bit or 64 bit MAC OS X?
What brand/model of USB adaptor are you using?
  - links to the product and driver are a plus.
