I had written my own routine to sort frequency-dependent eigenvalues according to their corresponding eigenvectors. The sorting is based on the modal assurance criterion. I had bookmarked John's eigenshuffle submission which I guess does something very similar. I thought when I have some free time I'm going to compare these two. I bookmark a lot of stuff I want to revisit, assuming it's surely going to be there when I return. What a surprise that it wasn't ...
