 z = XCoeff * x + YCoeff * y + CCoeff

is equivalent to

< (x,y,z) . (XCoeff, YCoeff , -1) > = -CCoeff

<.,.> is dot product. Thus the normal vector is N = (XCoeff, YCoeff , -1) .
