  I don't understand what it is you are trying to do, but your statement that "where [m5 m4 m3 m2 m1] = [0 1 0 1 0] then we get [n1 n2 n3 n4] = [0 0 0 1]" is incorrect, given your definitions of n1, n2, n3, and n4.  With these values of [m5 m4 m3 m2 m1] you would get [n1 n2 n3 n4] = [1 1 1 1].

  With your current definition of the n's all m's must be the same to get [n1 n2 n3 n4] = [0 0 0 0], either all 0's or all 1's.  Please explain with greater clarity what it is you are attempting to do - what is it you wish to change, the definition of the n's or the values of the m's?
