NI DAQ card and RTWT

Hello.
I'm considering buing a NI DAQCard-6024E or NI DAQCard-
6062E. I want to use it with RTWT. I need 2 AI channels and
1 AO channel. I read on the NI forums about problems with
6024E ( http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/
message?board.id=250&message.id=28990&query.id=470630#M28990
 )
Is it possible to have just one card and to use both AI and
AO chnanels simultaneously?

Q2:Will the PCMCIA card work (with matlab) if it connects
to PCMCIA to PCI adapter?

Q3:There is not DAQCard-6024E supported in xPC target. But
the PCI-6024E is supported. Will the DAQCard-6024E work
with xPC target as PCI-6024E?

Thanks for answer
Michal

Hi Michal,

according to your address you are from a territory where Humusoft is

Yes. Real-Time Windows Target does not use DMA with either AI or AO, so
the limitation of one DMA channel does not apply.

Yes, and it will still appear as DAQCard-6024E. The PCMICA to PCI
adapter is invisible to the driver.

No, for the reason above. The adapter does not convert PCMCIA to PCI, it
just connects PCMCIA via PCI. So the driver would still need to be
written for PCMCIA which it isn't.

Best Regards, Jan
