Anyone know if there's a MATLAB function that can be used to
solve 2nd order differential equations? If not, anyone know
how to go about doing that?

Thanks!

ode45 and the other odeXXX solvers can do this.

infact, not directly. you have to rewrite the ODE in a
matrix-form:

suppose: x''=F(x,x',t)=ax'+bx+c
rewrite: y=[x, x'], y'=[0 1; b a]*y+[0; c]
