Anyone else having their Matlab windows disappear on Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard?

I'm using the Matlab editor and debugger (2007b) on my Intel Mac, installed
after I upgraded to Leopard, and when I push certain debugger buttons, all
windows for Matlab disappear, never to be found again. I've checked my second
"space" and they're not there either. I'm left with the active Matlab icon on the
dock, but no way to open (or find) the command window, editors, figures, etc.
My only workaround has been to force quit, restart Matlab and avoid using the
editor.

I have noticed this behavior, however I think it has been
present since 2007b. I observed this behavior in Tiger too.
It happened for me when I was debugging a GUI and pushed
the "stop debugging" button.

I don't think this problem is Leopard specific, so maybe we
should look in a more general 2007b thread?

Is this a known problem? I haven't been able to find any
other information on it. Any help?

I'm experiencing the same problem with 2007b and Leopard.
It appears to happen consistently (so far) when I click to exit debug mode when
I'm using a GUI application, though I haven't noticed it at any other time. When
I do the same steps without using the GUI, it's fine.
It would be nice to have a solution...

Well I'm using Spaces on Leopard (10.5.3) and every now and then the Command
Window disappears when switching back to my Matlab space. It generally
reappears later. This is disconcerting, to say the least...
Any other people experiencing the same magic?

In a sense, yes. After MATLAB loads and I get the windows
spaced out among my displays as I expect, loading some
programs causes all MATLAB windows to be moved on to one
display or the other.

I also had this problem. Tested a bit:
1. Matlab reinstall does not help.
2. I only have the problem when running GUIDE generated functions. Other functions even involving lower level GUI elements do not cause problems.
