The easiest way is to record the sound near an airport
or a helipad. Simulating sound to resemble the helicopter
will be a very, very difficult task.

Recorded helicopter sounds are sometimes posted at:
alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.sound-effects

Recorded files might meet your needs or provide a standard to compare
to.
