Subject: How to plot square pattern representing a matrix?

If I have a 10*10 matrix filled with elements like 1 or -1,
how do I plot a 10*10 grid where the square positions
represented by 1:s are black and the rest are white?

I mean a bit like
http://www.eigenvector.com/MATLAB/corrmap.html
but with black and white squares represennting 1:s and -1:s
in a matrix.

Hope someone can help.

Regards Emil

if your matrix is A try imagesc(A), that will give you a
coloured image. If you want it black and white you have
to use image and play with the input a bit to use the RBG
inputs

Arbg(:,:,1)=A>0;
Arbg(:,:,2)=A>0;
Arbg(:,:,3)=A>0;
image(Arbg)
