Mr Patil
I really appreciate your help in this regard.
However I am trying to create exe files which I can give
others in my company. They would be vary of installing
something in their computers. What I was hoping is to give
them a stand alone exe file which is all they would need.
I can see that the mcc can output a c/c++ code. I was
wondering if it is possible to compile it into an exe file
using a separate c/c++ compiler. but it seems to be
missing a mclmcr.h file its include directory. Please do
let me know if you have any knowledge in this regard.
Thank you very much. I really appreciate your time.

But they are meanwhile _not_ wary of copying an exe file to their machine?
This is an incomplete thread on this news server so didn't see first
question, so can only comment on what is here...

While I understand your stand in this, I only want to send
1 exe file when asked for. It would be lot easier than
sending multiple files (MCR installation files).
Since the MATLAB by itself is not capable of creating an
exe file, my question now is can I compile to c code it
generates using an independent compiler. I would really
apprectiate any help in this regard.

You can use the new deploytool. There you can bundle the MCR
with your application and send the exe so generated
