Hello,

Is there a way to extract contour positions (X,Y
coordinates) or streamline locations without plotting them ?
I would like to extract these positions for a lot of contour
values but it spend a lot of time to plot each of them and
store the corresponding positions...
Thank you for your help,

Alexis

Try to use this function contours
 c = contours(peaks);

all the information regarding the x,y positions of the
contours is in the handle to the contour plot. You only
have to write a small piece of code to extract the x,y for
any given contour level. I had to do this once since I need
the contours for something else that I plotted.
