Thread Subject: problem with analoginput

Hi, I'm trying to create an analog input object using analoginput. But the follow message always appears.

??? Undefined function or method 'analoginput' for input arguments of type 'char'.
 
Furthermore, when I type daqhwinfo,

??? Undefined function or variable 'daqhwinfo'.

appears.

I am new to matlab, can anybody help?

Are you sure you have the Data Acquisition toolbox installed?

I have the Daq Toolbox which I downloaded from http://www.psychtoolbox.org/PTB-2/daq.html
Is this the proper toolbox?

That is not the Data Acquisition Toolbox shipped by the
MathWorks. "analoginput" function is a function from the
MathWorks Data Acq Tbx, and it may not be a valid function
in your Daq Toolbox. Take a look at the documentation that
came with your toolbox.

I have the same problem, however, I have the original DAQ
Toolbox shipped by Mathworks.
The path-settings are correct, "help analoginput" works!

Whats wrong?

There is the 'audiorecorder' class that comes with standard
matlab.
