Subject: Anyone using PRINT -D to specify a specific printer?

I am writing on behalf of The MathWorks. We are inerested
in better understanding usage of the -d output options of
the PRINT command. "print -d" can be used to specify a
graphics format (such as TIFF) or a particular driver,
either a printer ("HP Laser Jet III") or postscript.

In particular, is anybody using -d to specify a printer-
specific format (ex. print -dljet3)? If so, what -d options
do you use and why?

Thank you,
- Ali

I don't use any of the GhostScript devices, but do use all of the following:

AxesPrint.m: print('-dps2c',[pn fn])
AxesPrint.m: print('-deps2c',[pn fn])
AxesPrint.m: print('-djpeg80',[pn fn])
AxesPrint.m: print('-dtiff',[pn fn])
AxesPrint.m: print('-dpng',[pn fn])
AxesPrint.m: print('-dmeta',[pn fn])
AxesPrint.m: print('-dmeta') % Straight to clipboard
