Hello everyone,

We are thinking about buying a F28335 Texas Instrument DSP
and using Simulink to control it, since the latest version
of the Target for C2000 seems to support this processor.

However, I read that it's only partially supported. So I
would like to know what IS supported by this toolbox. The
main points are:
-Is the Floating Point Unit supported?
-Can I use all the I/O's? Or am I limited to 35 pins?
-Is it possible to use the classical Simulink Blocks like
the Transfer Function block without any restriction?

Hi Kevin,

Support for F28335 came out with R2008a on March 1st, 2008

FPU is supported
You can use all GPIOs all the way to 87.
Peripheral support includes: SCI, SPI, PWM, ADC, I2C, CAN, watchdog +
asynchronous suppport with interrupt handling.
All generic simulink blocks can be used the same way you can use them with
c280x and c281x.
