I always run into the problem of having minor grid lines
with same width as major grid lines.
I tried many times adjusting this using line properties
(LineWidth) ...etc. but it appears it affects both major
and minor at the same time.
Is there a way to be able to make major grid thicker than
minor grid?
Excel charts has that feature and I love it (makes easier
to read busy graphs).

Thanks a lot in advance,

You might be interested in my GRIDXY function, which can be

Thanks. That is a useful function, but now I need to
calculate the gird coordinates X, Y ...etc.
I was hoping for a simpler builtin way (Matlab already
plots the minor and major grids, why cannot have different
styles for them??).

If I could not find a simpler way, then I will use GRIDXY.
Thanks a lot for the tip.

No solution for this problem?
I am surprised that a simple feature that excel charts can
do but Matlab cannot.
Anyway, I will try to code my own function (based on the
above gridxy function).

If anyone finds a simpler solution (like built in
property) please let me know.

Hi!
Did you manage to find a solution to this problem?!
I really need this feature as well, but can't figure it out either.
This would be of great help!

Ian
