Has anyone seen a crash of 2008a while MATLAB was just
sitting there? I recently had 2008a crash while MATLAB was
open but not in use. This was a hard crash that killed
MATLAB; when MATLAB was restarted 2008a could no longer
locate the configuration file that contained my extensive
list of recent editor files. Since this is a list that I
use all the time in the editor, and it supplements my bad
memory by storing the path to my current m-files, losing
this was a major setback. I reverted to 2007b. Any
suggestions?
