Hi,
Can i use genetic algorithm with simulink response
optimisation and set up my own objective function?

Hi Ahmed,

If you have the GADS toolbox (http://www.mathworks.com/products/gads/) you
can use genetic algorithms with simulink response optimization. When GADS is
installed the menu "Optimization->Optimization Options" has an option under
the "Algorithm" combobox for "Pattern search" which in turn supports a
genetic algorithm search method.

Regarding setting up your own objective function see my response to your
earlier post.
