Subject: Can axes interact with mouse listeners?

I am working on a GUI for which I need to use axes.

The problem I want to solve is very simple:
I create one axes. I open the GUI .m file and I say: put the
image of rand(10,10) inside. Everything is fine up to this
point.

The next thing I want to do is: at execution time, click on
the axes with the image in and print "Hello World!" in the
Command Window.
How can I do this? So far I've seen that only buttons can do
it. Is that true? Is there a way to have the same kind of
interaction for axes?

Your help will be very much appreciated.

Thanks!
Suguleasa.
