Hello,

I am currently working on a project that requires the use of
SimuLINK and xPC Target. The setup right now involves two
computers, one to run the actual MATLAB/SimuLINK files and
the other that has the National Instruments PCI-6025
E-Series card which controls a motor. The two computers are
connected through an ethernet cable. Why do I receive
"Address 100000h not available" error while booting my
Target PC with floppy disk using xPC Target Embedded Option?
Thank you in advance!

PS. I don't have a config.sys file to rename as reported as
a solution to another post.

This problem comes up when using some versions of DOS as the
initial boot OS. When the xPC Target loader tries to use
memory at 0x100000 (1 MByte), DOS is not letting it because
there is a memory manager running that already owns that
memory. You have to run a version of DOS that doesn't start
up a memory manager like this.

Please contact tech support at The MathWorks for more help
in getting a usable version of DOS to start our kernel from.
