Hello,

I am trying to implement Costantini's minimum cost flow algorithm (the
network programming approach) for 2D phase unwrapping.
Does anybody know a reference implementation, or can someone give me
help on that?

Many thanks in advance.
Regards
Sabine Lorentz

I don't know, but I'm interested in the 2D unwrapping
methods as well. If you can find a reference paper, I'm
willing to help with MATLAB implementation. Just contact me
if you are interested.

Thanks,

Bruno

Bruno,

I wrote a mail to you but maybe you didn't get the mail. Are you still
willing to help me, or is there anybody else?

Sorry, I did not get the email. Could you please send me again. My email is <b.luong @ fogale . fr> (removed the spaces in the address).

Thanks,

Finally: http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/25154

There are few details in Costantini's paper that sill escape me, notably the trick of converting integer optimization into a real one (integer solution is the real solution, but I believe the opposite is NOT true). Because of that, the "integration" step is not path-independent, and cause few stability issues during the numerical tests I have carried out.

It would be nice if someone here who fully grabs the method can shed a light.

Hi Bruno,

I have Costantini phd thesis about phase unwrapping. Have you had it already?

Cheers,
Hua
