Hi,

I am trying to import .avi video files that I recorded from a minidigital camcorder using Windows Movie Maker. When I type:

mov = aviread('Lemur001.avi')

I get the errors:

??? Error using ==> aviinfo>errorWithFileClose at 596
No video stream found.

Error in ==> aviinfo at 185
  errorWithFileClose('No video stream found.',fid);

Error in ==> aviread at 49
info = aviinfo(filename,'Robust');

Does anyone know why matlab is not reading this video?

Thanks!

Jessica

i think you have not the movi file i n th current directory in which Matlab is, so make sure that you have a right .avi file exist in the directory. because Matlab does not read other formates
