Thread Subject: Microchip hardware implementation ?

I always want to know how to generate code for a MICROCHIP
I came across under RTW configuration Parameter>>hardware implementation
choose microchip and pic18
and then i can build model using GRT template and then compile the c codes with my c compiler

is it right?

can some one provide me with some tutorials or webcast

There are two ways:
1. Use 'custom' setting in 'hardware implementation' pane and choose your char/int/word sizes since PIC implementation specs vary across MATLAB versions. You can choose 'ert.tlc' for more optimized code generation

2. Microchip has released its own blocksets for its dsPIC series of DSCs. These wouyld help you to incorporate dsPIC peripherals into your models and invoke Microchip C30 compilers from MATLAB environment.
