Thread Subject: two dimensional kernel smoothing

Is there a function which does two dimensional kernel smoothing?
you have a two-d array and have a gaussian kernel, how can you smooth the data ? this is useful for two density estimation and firing rate estimation.

in marix h - 2d gaussian function must be.
