I would like to use tabs in GUIDE but I see no widget available in the toolbox. Is this a hidden feature.

There isn't one built in but there are several in the file exchange. Search for 'guide tabs'.

Hey Dave,
Thanks for the information. I found the list of downloads, downloaded the most recent one to check out. I will play with these and see what works best. I just thrilled to have found a function.
