The lousy MuPAD->Matlab interface of the solve command in R2008b fails in

>> solve ('sin(x)/(cos(x) - 1)')

ans =

0

which really is a shame, because MuPAD computes the correct solution:

Dom::ImageSet(PI*k, k, Z_) minus Dom::ImageSet(2*PI*k, k, Z_)

Btw, Maple (<=R2008a) did not find a solution at all.
