here is a daily, or multiple-times daily, problem that started a week ago:
I am on an acer with 3g ram, T8100 intel chip, Vista
How do i find the root cause? How do i fix it?

A recurrent error that completely bogs down matlab, then crashes it into automatic closing,
This happens every session, while no scripts or functions are running, while I am usually writing a function in editor. This sequence can reoccur soon after a total reboot, so I doubt it is any program I wrote. But sometimes it happens after an hour or so.

Please try the suggestion in
http://www.mathworks.com/support/solutions/data/1-8G7XG1.html?solution=1-8G7XG1

if that doest fix it, please contact technical support with system
details, MATLAB version and anything else that might help them isolate the
cause.
