The search dialog in the editor is pretty nice, with the "match case", "whole word" and "wrap" options. However I consistently find myself wanting a "search only non-comment lines" option, for finding where specific variables are actually used. Is this available in any version of MATLAB? I am currently stuck with 2007a so if this has already been implemented, great, if not, are there plans to do so?

I only have up to 2007b, and no, you cannot do what you describe in that version either. You can always make a feature request on the main website.

Nice suggestion - would be a useful improvement.
