Hi Everybody,

I am trying to use nntool as a GUI in Matlab to do Neural Network. I was
confused between two terms Training Function and Adaption Learning Function.
What are the differences between both. In other words, what can each of
these functions do.
Appreciate your help

Regards

There are two learning styles: batch training and incremental training. If you want to use batch training, you can either use the train or the adapt function, but if you want to use incremental training, you must use the adapt function and your inputs must be in the form of a cell array (not in the form of a regular matrix).
