I'm not sure if you've read this already, but it may be useful:

I couldn't get either of those links to work. Or if it was one link I couldn't get it to work either.

I've found this: http://www.mathworks.com/access/helpdesk/help/techdoc/index.html?/access/helpdesk/help/techdoc/matlab_external/f42650.html&http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&ct=res&cd=1&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.mathworks.com%2Faccess%2Fhelpdesk%2Fhelp%2Ftechdoc%2Fmatlab_external%2Ff42650.html&ei=TuZASru2E9SLtgeUsYymCQ&rct=j&q=matlab+pointers&usg=AFQjCNFuKsN7uBWrX4BgT_uwVrxYuVs2NA

but don't think its the same as a c pointer. Is there something else I should be looking at?

Cheers!

Ivan
