Hi guys,

I did a contour map but I don't know how to hide axis but and simultaniously don't hide XTicks, YTicks,... ?

I was trying "axis off" and then setting X,Y Ticks:

set(gca,'XTick',0:5:40);
set(gca,'YTick',0:5:40);

but i doesnt work,...

can you please give me any hit how to do this?
cheers, Ondrej

Where would the Ticks be drawn if the axes is not present to draw them against?

Turn the axes off, and then use line() and text() to draw the ticks in where-ever
it is on the graph that you think they should go.

of what you don't mean. Specify boundary conditions, and data classes and value
relationships -- what if we scrambled your data or used -Inf, NaN, or complex(rand,rand)?
