Hello,

I tried to used the MPC toolbox in Simulink, but I had a problem with the D term (y=Ax+Du). I could not design a controller and a message said that there should not be a direct feed through (D should be zero) in the model.

Well, there is no possibility to get rid of the D matrix in my model, so does anyone have a clue how to solve this problem.

Thanks in advance

Eric

Please read this section of the documentation:
http://www.mathworks.com/access/helpdesk/help/toolbox/mpc/index.html?/access/helpdesk/help/toolbox/mpc/mpc_getstarted_models3.html&http://www.mathworks.com/access/helpdesk/help/toolbox/mpc/helptoc.html#13747

Basically, the recommendation is ti add a small delay at the inputs that have direct feedthorugh.

Hope this helps.

Scroll down to the note just before the next heading (LTI Object
