I am trying to input a vast amount of data from a CSV file that mixes numbers and text between columns. I see references to a program called 'autodataread.m' that sounds like it would solve my issue, but can find it or a good substitute. Let me know if you've heard of this script because I think I would be quite interested in finding it. Thanks.

That's funny, I just submitted a file to the FEX today that does
exactly that but it's waiting to be moderated. I'll post a link to it
as soon as it is up or you could search the FEX for 'csvimport'.
