Any idea why

ezsurf ('cos (x^2 + y^2)')

displays all these "undefined" white areas?

% I don't they are "undefined".
% I believe they are just not "sampled" densly enough.
% Or its just an "optical illusion".

ezsurf ('cos(0.1*(x^2 + y^2))')

% There are still "white spaces" but they are "defined".
