Thread Subject: clip shapefiles

Hi All,
      I am looking for a way to clip a shapefile using another shapefile (or mask). This would be similar to the clip operation in Arc products. For e.g. the mask could be a county boundary while the underlying shapefile could be a larger soils map.

Any suggestion would be helpful ?

I could solve this using the "polybool"
