I have a text file that I need to pull information out of, that is not in a friendly format for matlab. An example can be seen below:

12332 10422 43234

This is a test of the ability of matlab to upload data

on 1 3452u set3
off 2 2345x set2
on 1 3452y set1

This is a second line in the matlab test

First if there is some form on a matrix at the top of the text file matlab will not pull the rest of the data. How can I get matlab to pull all the lines into matlab?

Thanks

Charles:

Have you already tried with "textread" and "textscan"? See the help for these functions...
