Thread Subject: can Matlab 08b do 3D surface fitting using GUI

I know Matlab 09a have a GUI doing 3D surface fitting. But can Matlab 08b do it as well? I can not find it in help doc...thanks a lot!

I believe this is part of the curve fitting toolbox.
That capability was not present in earlier releases
of MATLAB.
