Need to plot 3D conic

Hi all,

I have been trying to plot a 3D conic which is of the form:

F(x,y,z) = ((x-3.06)^2 + (y-1.01)^2 + (z+4)^2 - constant);

I tried surf, surfc, ezplot etc...but none seems to be working.

Any info will be greatly appreciated

Hi... Download EZIMPLOT3.
You can't see anything using surf or ezsurf because they don't plot implicit functions.

Search it at Matlab File Exchange, download it and see its code. Don't forget to leave your comments and ratings!
