I have a variable that has properties:

 Name Size Bytes Class Attributes

  OUTPUTnames 364x35 25480 char

where, for example,

OUTPUTnames(1,:) = 01-20-07_cut_1-10_002-01.102901.wav
OUTPUTnames(2,:) = 01-20-07_cut_1-11_002-01.103010.wav
.
.
.

I want to write OUTPUTnames to an excel sheet that has 1 column. For example, the first column would have 01-20-07_cut_1-10_002-01.102901.wav, the second column would have 01-20-07_cut_1-11_002-01.103010.wav, etc.

I take it you mean that you want the first ROW to contain '01-20-07_cut_1-10_002-01.102901.wav' and the second ROW to contain '01-20-07_cut_1-11_002-01.103010.wav'

And then you may want to type in
>>doc xlswrite
into your command prompt.
