Thread Subject: default tick direction

I'd like to change the default tick direction on my figures to 'out', so that I don't have to change it on every axis I make. I had a look through the documentation but can't find the correct Property Name. Can anyone help me out?

Look at the axes TickDir property.

For anyone interested, the answer is

set(0,'DefaultAxesTickDir', 'out')

I was using "Axis" instead of "Axes"...
I was using "Axis" instead of "Axes" in the middle.
