Thread Subject: Compaq Visual Fortran 6.6

So, I know this is not supported in r2009a, but is there any way that
I can still use it? I don't want to go through the hassle of buying a
new compiler...
I'm on a 32-bit Windows XP system.

Any help would be appreciated, as I've been searching for an hour to
no avail.
(I only ask if I can still use it because I saw a batch script that
allowed users to use an Intel fortran compiler that is not normally
supported...)

Suggest you post this one to comp.lang.fortran
I use IVF now. CVF is not maintained since a couple of years ago.

Yeah, my mentor just gave me his copy of CVF to try to use with mex
files, but... it doesn't seem to like r2009a (I guess it was phased
out after r2007a or b)

Problem solved. What I did was installed r2007b and copied the
required files into the r2009a's directory. It was that easy.
