Hi,

On my gui I have a listbox and in it I import some info from an excel file

When I run the aplication I get this warning:

Warning: Could not start Excel server for import

On matlab v7.1 is working very well but on matlab 2008b is not.
I get the warning and is importing in my listbox evreything I have in my excel file and not the specific range that I have specified.

Any ideas

Thanks

Maybe you have a zombie Excel process that interferes with your attempt to load another Excel server process. Try to restart Matlab and/or to kill Excel zombies using the task manager (or better - using the Microsoft SysInternals's ProcExlorer utility).
