Hi
I am trying to model steady state heat conduction and convection in 1-d with a heat source but cant seem to get it right! My graphs (of temperature with respect to change in distance) just come out as straight lines or one random dot. I have been trying for two weeks and have done some tutorials that i found on the internet but they all invove 2d systems with transient states or no heat source so when i try to combine the methodology to my own problem it doesn't work. Can anybody help?
Thanks very much
