Thread Subject: Toolbox for information theory

We are please to announce the release of our Information Breakdown Toolbox together with its dedicated website www.ibtb.org. The toolbox implements many information theoretic quantities useful in data analysis. Although intended primarily for application in the field of neuroscience, the toolbox can be used in many different areas. The code is open and free and can be obtained from the website (www.ibtb.org); ew will soon also post a version on Matlab's file exchange.
