i'm using ASAMIS function when i used it the error said that

?? Error using ==> error_intensity
Too many output arguments.

Error in ==> Untitled5 at 9
[fstar, xstar, grad, hessian, state] = asamin('minimize',
'error_intensity', xinit, xl, xu, xt);

how can i solve that?
i'm very appreciated your help.

Hi!
This error comes when the function is called with more output arguments than specified in the function delaration.
ex: sum function is has only one ouput argument ,If you call with more than one output arguments it will end up with the same error as you mentioned.
Please check the function definition line for number of output arguments & make sure that number of output arguments in a funtion definition line same as the number of output arguments you called with........

You need to give some more information.
Can you post come of the code from this function. You should be able to edit the code if you type
edit asamin
at the command line.
